I graduated moons ago from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College with a degree in Bible and Elementary Education when computers were a luxury of the rich and used a 5.25” floppy. I have had the privilege of being married to a pastor whose passion for the Lord has been an inspiration. We have been in ministry in several churches in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin. I simply love to walk outdoors, garden, cook, and when I have time – I love to stamp homemade cards.

I have taught for over 20 years, first teaching a few years at the 4th-grade level before moving up to teaching eight years of math, science, and reading at the middle school level at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Sheboygan. When it closed, I moved up to the Sheboygan Christian High School as the academic skills teacher, as well as being a “jack of all trades” educator teaching pre-algebra, algebra, accounting, marriage and family, and English 9. The Lord called me into part-time administration when our school went through a time of transition. In my last year of teaching, I led the school as a full-time principal. Since that time, I completed a Master’s of Education in Teaching and Learning through Liberty University and completed my Wisconsin teaching license through Maranatha Baptist University and my principal licensure program.

Working in education for the past 20 years has taught me that every day is a day to learn something new and an opportunity to see God at work in the lives of students and people around me. When I consider how the ideas of faith and education come together, I am always reminded of how constantly the Bible speaks of everything being in God’s sovereign control and that I am willing to be used for His purpose.
